Billing and your subscription
What the Billing page shows, what the subscription costs and covers, how to change your card, and what each state of the subscription means.
Clubroll costs $39 a month for the whole club, a flat price that does not depend on how many members you have. It is billed monthly through Stripe. Only the owner sees the Billing page; reach it from the plan card on Settings, or from the banner when a payment needs attention.
What the page shows
- Your plan. In words: in setup (not yet subscribed), active, payment failed, ending, or read-only. For a failed payment it gives the date it failed and the date the club becomes read-only. For an ending subscription it gives the end date.
- Card and cancelling. A button that opens Stripe's own page, where you sign in with the email address you paid with to update your card or cancel. Clubroll never sees your card number. If the button is not there, the page says to write to support@clubroll.app from the address you paid with.
- If a payment fails. The schedule of warnings: see what happens if a payment fails.
- Your data. A button to download everything, available in every state.
The states
- In setup. You have not subscribed yet. You can do everything except publish, email members and invite others. See why you cannot publish or email yet.
- Active. Subscribed, and everything works.
- Payment failed. The club still works while Stripe tries the card again. Fixing the card ends it.
- Ending. You asked to stop at the end of what you have paid for. Everything works until the date shown.
- Read-only. The subscription has ended or a payment stayed unpaid. See a read-only club.
Subscribing
On the pricing page, or from the Subscribe link in the banner or on Billing. If you are signed in the payment is attached to your club by itself, and the club switches on the moment it goes through.
Refunds
Read the refund policy: cancel in the first 14 days for a full refund; after that the month already paid is not refunded, and the club continues to the end of that month.
Invoices and receipts
Receipts and invoices for the subscription come from Stripe, not from Clubroll. Clubroll's own receipts are the ones for your members' dues.
