Cancel your subscription
How to cancel, what you keep, why there is no pause, and how to come back later.
You can cancel at any time. There is no notice period and no exit fee.
How
Open Billing and press the button that opens Stripe's own page, then choose cancel. If the button is not shown, write to support@clubroll.app from the address you paid with. Cancelling stops the next payment.
What happens next
You asked to stop at the end of what you have paid for, so the club keeps working until then, and Billing and the banner show the date: "Your subscription ends on (date)." On that date the club becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted. The roll, dues, newsletters and website pages stay exactly as they were, and you can still look at everything and download it.
Take your data first
Press Download everything (ZIP) on Billing, any time and again before the end date. It works in every state, including after the club is read-only. Our terms say your roll and newsletter archive stay downloadable for at least 30 days after the end. See export everything.
There is no pause
A club is either subscribed or it is not. If you need a quiet month, you can still cancel and come back: subscribe again, and the club opens as you left it, with everything in place. In the meantime a read-only club can still be read and downloaded.
Refunds
Cancel within 14 days of the first charge and it is refunded in full. After that, a month already paid is not refunded, and the club continues to the end of it. See the refund policy.
What cancelling does not do
It does not cancel anything outside Clubroll: your bank, your own payment link and your domain name, if you have one, are yours. It does not email your members. Their last newsletter stays in your archive, and your website stays visible until you take it down: see choose a template and publish.
