What the price does and does not cover
Does Clubroll take our members' dues?
No. It never holds your money. The office records each payment as it arrives, with the method and a reference, and the dues book shows who is paid and who is overdue. Members do not pay through the site.
What if we stop paying or want to leave?
Cancel from the billing link in any receipt. The workspace switches off at the end of the month you have paid for, and the roll and the newsletter archive stay exportable for 30 days after that. The export is one ZIP download of plain CSV files, whenever an admin asks for it.
What size of club is it for?
Tens to a few hundred members, one association per workspace. The price is $39 a month whatever the size, but it is not built for a national body with tens of thousands of contacts.
Can members join, register for events or buy things on the site?
Not yet. The site's join page tells people who to write to, and the secretary adds them to the roll. There is no online application form, no event registration and no shop.
Can the site use our own domain name?
Not yet. Your club's site lives at a clubroll.app address. If you already have a domain and a site you like, you can keep it and use Clubroll for the roll, the dues and the newsletter.
Is it our accounting?
No. There is no ledger, no bank feed and no tax report. The dues book is the membership year, and that is all it is.
Can I phone someone when something goes wrong?
No. There is no phone line and no sales call. Write to support@clubroll.app and the answer comes back in writing, so you can forward it to the next secretary.
