How to get help, and what to put in your message
Where help lives in Clubroll, how the Still stuck? form works, what to include, and what to expect after you send it.
Clubroll has no phone line and no live chat. It has a help centre written for the secretary and treasurer of a small club, and a way to tell us when that was not enough.
Start with the screen you are on
Most pages have a small line near the bottom that says "Help:" followed by the title of the article for that screen, and every page has a Help link in its footer. The help centre has a search box. It searches as you type if scripts are on, and the same box works without them: press Search and you get a plain list.
The Still stuck? form
If no article answers it, open Still stuck?. The form asks for two things and one optional thing:
- Which club is this about? The name is enough.
- What were you doing, and what happened? One or two sentences: the screen, what you pressed, what you expected and what you saw.
- Where can we reply? Optional. An email address, if you want an answer.
Before it lets you send, the form shows you the three articles most likely to answer what you wrote. They open in a new tab and your message stays where it is. If one of them answers it, you are done. If not, press the button to send.
What you get back
A ticket number such as HLP-7K2M4Q, which you can quote if you write again. We read new messages once a day and answer the ones we can. If you gave no address we cannot write back. We keep a message for 90 days and then delete it.
Writing to us by email
You can also write to support@clubroll.app. The form is quicker for us to act on, because it already says which club and what happened.
Is it Clubroll, or is it me?
Look at the status page. If it says everything is working, the problem is more likely to be a setting or a step: the articles will help.
What not to send
Do not send passwords or card numbers. We never need them.

Still stuck?
If this did not answer it, tell us what happened. We will show you the articles most likely to help before you send anything.
